FDA Advisory Panel Votes to Loosen Restrictions on BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, and MOTS-c
In a landmark twoday meeting, the FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee voted narrowly — 8 to 6 — to recommend that four popular peptides (BPC157, KPV, TB500, and MOTSc) be added to the list of substances that compounding pharmacies are permitted to prepare for patients. The votes came over the objections of FDA career scientists and could pave the way for these compounds to become legally available through licensed pharmacies for the first time.
